The reason for my nomination

I feel extremely lucky to have met Gianluigi - thankfully... and through a radius search (5 km from my house here in the Netherlands) in Linkedin of all places. I wanted to work with someone who truly understood marketing 2.0 and all the ramifications of social media and search engine optimisation on eCommerce and ePublishing. And someone near my house. And - as it turned out - Gianluigi understood the space better than myself and I have actually learnt a tremendous amount from him. He's truly one of the hardest working people I have worked with - he possesses an endless drive to build Agora Media Group into a viable business model and has been instrumental in showing his value in building our brand alone. At one point, www.agoramedia.co.uk was showing 22,000 percent increase in reach over three months... a phenomenal number - and that was based mainly on his hard work on Twitter, Linkedin and various other social media - and the plethora of posts on Mobile Augmented Reality he wrote on our blog. He's now become a recognized expert in that space, all down to hard work, research and sharing his intelligence with others via our site. As an innovation and creative agency, his work is incredibly important, as we need to understand and work with emerging technologies. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such a talented, driven, and successful marketing expert who packages his gleaned knowledge with an incredible amount of drive to succeed. For a young startup like Agora Media Group, he's proving to be a catalyst in building the company and the brand... and way beyond what was expected.
