This information can be entered in a separate confidential box within the nominations form which at no time will be visible to the public, only to the judges. Please note that as these are online awards, all entry submissions will be open for public viewing on LinkedIn and members will be voting on their choices as part of the selection process.

Only members residing in a European country are eligible to take part. Note that they can work for a company owned outside of Europe, so long as they are based within Europe. The Awards are to recognise exceptional business success both on a personal and company level. Companies of any size may enter.
All entries must be via the online nomination form which must be completed in full and can be found here.

The entry deadline is midnight (GMT) Friday 22nd January 2010.
The Awards Ceremony will be held online on Wednesday 24 March 2010.
By participating in the competition, you agree to be bound by these rules (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice) and by our decisions, which are final in all matters relating to the competition. All rule changes will be posted in revised terms and conditions on this site.
Once you have completed the online nomination form, click SUBMIT and your entry will be automatically sent to us.

Each category has specific entry criteria which are outlined above.
LinkedIn members may nominate themselves (or, where appropriate, their companies) for any of the awards with the exception of the Rising Star of the Year Award. LinkedIn members may nominate others (or, where appropriate, other companies) for any of the awards.
You may nominate yourself (or, where appropriate, your company) for more than one category, but you may only submit one entry for each category.
All entries will be acknowledged on receipt.
Entries arriving after the deadline will not be accepted unless previously agreed in writing with the organisers.
While the Awards are open for entries, up until 22nd January 2010, members are able to support entries via the ‘Support’ button. This does directly effect the shortlist selection. Once the shortlist for each category has been made, selected by the judging panel, voting will be open to all members of LinkedIn Europe to select the three finalists in each category. Each Linkedln member is entitled to a single vote for each entry. You may not vote for your own submission and any attempt to register a vote for your own submission or multiple votes for any submission, including through the use of aliases or varied email addresses will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification. The three nominations with the most votes will form the shortlist which will be considered by the judges who will decide the final winner.
The short lists will be judged by a panel of eminent and impartial adjudicators.
The judges` decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The short-listed entries will receive written confirmation via email with full details of the Awards Presentation within [fifteen (15)] days of the closing date. We reserve the right to select alternative short-listed finalists in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that a short-listed finalist has contravened any of these terms and conditions of entry.
The determination of any winner is conditional upon their compliance with any and all relevant laws, rules and regulations.
The winners will be announced via an online Awards Presentation powered by WebEx.
This ceremony will be open to all LinkedIn members to attend. All short listed finalists must attend the Awards Presentation or have a representative on their behalf.
Award winners may publicise the fact that they are a winner, but must include the category and the year in which the award was won.
Cisco WebEx online collaboration and LinkedIn reserve the right to use the names of winners in future marketing initiatives although winners may opt out of this if they wish by notifying the Awards organisers. No external promotional material using the winners’ details will be used without the winners’ prior consent.
